Coaching Pathways
Our Coaching Pathway is a great way for our current players who are passionate about basketball to take their passion and make it into their first after school job. There are 3 easy steps to begin the process!
Book in for our FREE Coaches Night at ShootHQ, committment free.
Commit to coach a Junior Domestic team of any age group as either head coach or assistant coach.
Coach a Junior Domestic team for 1 full season as a head coach and become eligible to fill a paid coaching position.
Coaching your child
Coaching your child is a great way to support their growth and be a big part of them growing up. We welcome all parents to coach their child’s team, all you need to do is submit the form below and apply for a working with children’s check if you dont already have one.
Reasons to coach your child:
You are already at training and the games so there is no additional time committment.
You can be more involved in your child’s growth as a basketball player and person.
Safeguarding Children in Sport - Mandatory for All Coaches
As part of our focus on providing a safe and encouraging environment for all of our members we require all coaches to complete the “Safeguarding Children in Sport induction” via Sport Integrity Australia.
Once you have completed this induction, please email your badge to coachingsyndalstorm@gmail.com
